Featured Business: Quartz & Company

Owner Lexie Jones celebrated the second anniversary of her store on November 1, 2024. Unfortunately, COVID kept her from opening her store for a few years, but she is making up for it now. The store is a fixture on Clinton Street after only two years.

The store is brimming with beautiful bulk displays of clean, paraben – free detergents, paper products, beauty, cleaning, personal care items, teas, coffees, and so much more. Customers can provide their own containers, or purchase glass containers on site. She is doing her part in the elimination of single-use plastic for the benefit of the earth.

Her teas and spices come from around the world, but she makes an effort to keep her supply chain local. There is quite an assortment of locally – produced honey to choose from, also.

Lexie was born and raised in Howell, attended public schools until 10th grade, when she transferred to Cranbrook. She met her best friend at Cranbrook, and her friend now lives in Howell, which makes Lexie very happy.

The young entrepreneur always had a passion for sustainable products, and a dream of owning her own retail store. Combined with her hope of having an impact on the planet, and her motto, “replace, reuse, and recycle,” Lexie is accomplishing exactly that.

Lexie is very knowledgeable about clean ingredients, and you can rest assured that you will leave her store with safe products for the good of your family, and for the health of our planet.
