Job Title:
Office Assistant, Part-Time, Summer Temporary Position

Job Description:
We are seeking for a part time office assistant to work in the Howell Main Street office, around the downtown Howell area, and assist during our summer downtown events.

Duties Include:

  • Perform various clerical duties including answering phone calls, scanning, copying, filing, and general office duties as assigned by the Director.
  • Post social media communications on various platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, as assigned by the Director.
  • Provide general assistance to support our summer events, including Rock the Block, Food Truck Tuesdays, and Rocktoberfest.
  • Utilize software programs to maintain records and files pertaining to the downtown business catalog and real estate listings database.
  • Distribute our digital newsletter.

Hours:
Part time (20 hours per week), mostly weekday hours and occasional evenings to support events

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Office experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with social media platforms is preferred

Job Type: Part-time, summer temporary
Pay: $20 per hour

Work Location: In person, Howell Main Street Office (Downtown Howell)
