Howell Fire & Ice District Groundbreaking Ceremony

The City of Howell, Michigan – Government has officially broken ground on the Fire & Ice District, a transformational project that will enhance public space, strengthen community connection, and support our vibrant downtown businesses.

This exciting new development will feature inviting outdoor seating, seasonal fire and ice elements, improved lighting, and landscaping…creating a flexible space that can be enjoyed year-round. Designed to foster gathering, creativity, and local pride, the Fire & Ice District reflects Howell’s continued investment in placemaking and downtown vitality.

During construction, Walnut Street Marketplace is OPEN during their regular hours and continue to be able to assist costumers with loading purchases.
