Steven Has a Secret/Last Concert of the Summer

If you’ve joined us on Friday nights at Concerts at the Old Courthouse, you’ve probably heard Steven hint more than once that he’s been keeping a secret.

Well… this Friday, September 18th, just before the band takes the stage, he’s finally telling you.

And we are not exaggerating when we say Steven is bursting at the seams with excitement to finally show you—and tell you—what he’s been working on.

Steven had to keep this under wraps for a while, and just before the band takes the stage, the secret comes out.

There will be a professional film production crew onsite.

🎶 The most high-end sound system ever deployed at this venue.

Members of the press are invited.

And we are planning a very special moment that we want ALL OF YOU to be part of.

😎 YEAH… This isn’t just another Friday night Concert at the Old Courthouse!! 

And we are STOKED to welcome The Detroit Drive this Friday night. They don’t just play cover songs—they absolutely crush them. Get ready for a high-energy mix of classic rock, modern country, pop, and favorites from the ’80s through the 2000s. It’ll be a night packed with familiar hits you can dance to and sing along with!

We want September 18th to be a night Howell remembers.

For now, we have just (3) BIG ASKS of all of you:

ASK #1 — BRING THE ENERGY!

This one is the fun one.

Because we are filming this evening, YOU are part of the production.

We want to capture what makes these Friday nights so special—the people, the community, the excitement and the energy.

So when those cameras are rolling, we need you AMPED UP.

Excited. Animated. Energized. Cheering. Laughing. Singing. Dancing.

Basically…

LOOK AND SOUND LIKE YOU’RE HAVING THE BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE.

Because we want the rest of Michigan—and eventually people far beyond Michigan—to see what happens when this community comes together.

For 26 years, this community has gathered for these concerts, and nothing would make us happier than to look out on September 18th and see the largest crowd we have ever had.

There is a reason we want everyone there.

There is a reason for the cameras.

There is a reason for the press.

And there is a reason Steven has been keeping this secret.
