Needle Felted Acorns Workshop

About the event

There is something so satisfying about turning a handful of soft wool into something that looks like it came straight from the forest. In this cozy needle felting workshop, you’ll create a beautiful collection of realistic felted acorns using colorful wool and real acorn caps. We’ll cover the basics of needle felting while sharing tips for creating smooth shapes, blending colors, and adding natural details that make each acorn unique.

This class is perfect for beginners, but experienced felters will enjoy experimenting with different colors and techniques to create their own little harvest. By the end of class you’ll have a generous collection of felted acorns that are ready to display all season long. Use them to fill a wooden bowl, decorate a fall centerpiece, tuck them into wreaths, add them to seasonal garlands, embellish gift packages, or scatter them throughout your autumn décor. They’re also wonderful additions to woodland displays, fairy gardens, and handmade ornaments.

Needle felting is a relaxing craft that’s easy to fall in love with, and this class is the perfect excuse to slow down, enjoy a creative afternoon, and spend time with fellow makers. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage and settle in for a fun, cozy workshop.

All supplies are included. You’ll leave with a collection of handmade felted acorns and the confidence to continue creating at home.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

3 or more weeks before the workshop: full refund.

2–3 weeks before the workshop: full credit toward a future workshop

Less than 2 weeks before : non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to someone else. If you are unable to attend and cannot transfer your ticket, some workshops may offer the option to pick up the supplies used in class at a later date. However, this is not available for all workshops.

By registering for this Mi Craft House class, you acknowledge that crafting involves the use of tools, materials, and equipment that can be sharp, hot, or messy. You accept all responsibility for your own safety and the safety of any minors you bring, and release Mi Craft House, its staff, and instructors from any liability for injury, damage, or loss of personal property that may occur during the class.

Photo / Social Media Waiver

By participating in this class, you grant Mi Craft House permission to take photographs or videos of you and your work for use in promotional materials, social media, or educational content. You understand that you will not receive compensation for this use, and that images may be used at the studio’s discretion.  (you may opt out of photos/media during checkout)
