“CULTURA” – A Celebration of Culture through Music, Art & Food

Launched in October 2023, Cultura is an annual celebration of music, art, and food proudly co-hosted by the Livingston Diversity Council and the Livingston Arts Council in downtown Howell, Michigan. Since its inception, the event has become a beloved community tradition and is now held each year on the last Saturday in September.

Cultura is free and open to the public, welcoming everyone to experience the richness of cultures from around the world. Each year, the event showcases culturally significant performances and experiences through visual art, spoken word, music, dance, and cuisine.

Visitors can enjoy performances on two stages, explore visual art displayed throughout the historic Howell Opera House, and savor a variety of delicious offerings from some of the area’s favorite food truck vendors.

New this year, we are excited to welcome cultural vendors to the event! We have space for 12 vendors to showcase and sell culturally inspired artwork, handcrafted goods, and other unique items that celebrate the diverse traditions and cultures represented at Cultura.  Become a Cultura Vendor
