New Neighbors at the Promenade
If you haven’t been by the Promenade Shopping Center on East Grand River and National Streets in a while, you should drop on by to see the new businesses that have opened in the last year.
Some of the established businesses will be familiar to you, such as; Ascent Urgent Care, Cottage Inn Pizza, Golden House Restaurant, Smokers’ Depot, Q Nails, Planet Fitness, Dollar Tree, Auto XL Driving School, and the Barking Lot. In addition to these, there are a few new stores that are now open.
Hair Mechanix specializes in men’s haircuts. The interior is a beautifully modern décor, with plenty of seating. While receiving one of the up-to-date styles, beer, pop, and water are available. Straight-razor shaves, and scalp massages are also offered to provide a relaxing interlude for the gentleman.
Dough Creations is the newest bakery in town. Along with their delicious breads, doughnuts, bagels, and various other confections, they serve many flavors of bubble tea, and Mooville Ice Cream. Who doesn’t love Mooville? The wonderful smells emanating from their door may draw you in, but the variety and taste will keep you coming back.
Inspired Creations Dance Studio is another recent business in the Promenade. There are classes for adults and girls and boys, starting at age three. There are ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical and contemporary levels provided for the students. There are two studios with state -of – the art floors for dancing comfort. The staff has many combined years of dancing and teaching to ensure a positive experience for adult or child.
